“Confessing our love and trust in Jesus publicly with our friends and family,” he added.
Both Bieber and Baldwin have had a Christian connection for years. They first met in 2009 “but reconnected during a service for the Hillsong Church in New York City several years later,” reported People.
The two were married in 2018 at a New York courthouse and in September 2019 they had a religious wedding in South Carolina.

“I’m a Jesus follower,” Bieber said in February 2020. “When you accept Jesus, he says that now you walk with the Holy Spirit. So, I think I just want to be led by the Holy Spirit.”
Hailey Baldwin, the daughter of actor and conservative activist Stephen Baldwin, was raised as an evangelical Christian. She and Bieber reportedly attend the Hillsong Church, a charismatic Christian church.
In a March 2019 interview with CBN News, Hailey Baldwin said, “Currently I think that my purpose is to be in this place, yes, and to do this [modeling]. And I think that the bigger purpose behind it is for me to be a light in this place.”

“I’m here to represent Jesus through me for other people — for His will to be done,” she added.
“I think that the second that we feel like we’re too high and mighty, we’re always reminded that it’s not about us,” she said. “Nothing is about me, or you, or really anybody. It’s about us being a vessel for Jesus to be seen.”
