Bernie Sanders: My Message To My Supporters Is To Vote Early And Vote For Biden | Video

In an interview Sunday on MSNBC, former presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders told his supporters to vote for Joe Biden and that we’ll “fight out our differences” after the former vice president is elected.

“We are going to fight out our differences after Biden is elected,” Sanders promised. “As progressives, we will do everything we can to make the Biden administration the most progressive administration that it can become.”

“We’re going to do everybody we can,” Sanders said about electing Biden. “We have a very strong social media network. Obviously campaigning door to door and holding rallies is very difficult with the virus. But, trust me, we will use all of our resources to not only help elect, by the way, progressive members to the United States Congress and elsewhere but to get out the vote for Biden.”

“It is true that many of our supporters are younger people, nontraditional voters, and it is absolutely imperative that they come out and vote,” he added.

“I just want to say one thing,” Sanders continued. “No great secret that Joe Biden and I disagree on a number of issues. That’s a fact. What we are engaged in now is what we call coalition politics. We are going to fight out our differences after Biden is elected, but right now the immediate task is to come together to defeat Trump. And then as progressives, we will do everything we can to make the Biden administration the most progressive administration that it can become. But right now our message to our supporters, not only do you get out to vote, vote early, get your friends, co-workers, your co-students out to vote as well.
