Christian leader Franklin Graham said that the people rioting and attacking citizens in the streets are “not protesters” but “anarchists,” and added that whoever is funding this violence “should be considered an enemy to our country and held accountable.”

Graham, the son of the late Pastor Billy Graham, also advised Amercians to pray for wisdom as they prepare to vote in November, stressing that “the future of our children and our grandchildren is at stake.”

In an Aug. 29 post on Facebook, Rev. Graham wrote, “I was so surprised when I left the White House on Thursday night and saw first-hand what was going on in the streets. These so-called protestors are not protestors, they are anarchists, working to start riots and fuel the fires of unrest and hate.”

“A person who was coming to Washington on a plane this week said that there were some of these anarchists on the plane with them traveling to DC,” said Graham.  “Senator Rand Paul and his wife, Congressman Vernon Jones, and others could have been badly hurt as they were leaving after President Donald J. Trump’s acceptance speech.”

“There should be a full investigation to find out who is behind this and those responsible should be liable for the damage,” he said.  “These people are not defending a cause, they’re trying to disrupt and destroy.”

“Whoever is paying for it should be considered an enemy to our country and held accountable,” said Graham.  “Maybe the Attorney General could look into it.”

“This coming election is so important,” continued Graham.  “I encourage every person to pray before they vote and ask God to give you wisdom because the future of our country, the future of our children and our grandchildren is at stake.”
