Charlotte, N.C. – Hillary Clinton may not be done with politics quite yet. On Thursday, Hillary Clinton suggested that she’s willing to serve in a Biden administration.
“I’m ready to help in any way I can,” Clinton responded, “because I think this will be a moment where every American — I don’t care what party you are, I don’t care what age, race, gender, I don’t care — every American should want to fix our country… So if you’re asked to serve, you should certainly consider that.”
Clinton served alongside Biden in the Obama administration as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. So, was Clinton a “good” Secretary of State? As Bill Clinton might have said, it depends on what the meaning of good is.
Indeed, even many of her most ardent defenders recognize Hillary Clinton had no signal accomplishment at the State Department to her name, no lasting peace sealed with her handshake; no war averted. No nuclear crisis defused.
During Clinton’s tenure at the State Department, she was plagued by controversy; between her handling of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack and the debate over her private email server. It was clear that one once carpetbagging ex-Senator from New York was not the woman for our nation’s most prestigious foreign affairs office.
Biden is indeed forming far-left pre-administration personnel – showing signs of continued workings and dealings with the Democratic party’s more liberal members. From holding close meetings with Bernie Sanders on economic policy to gun legislation conversations with fellow 2020 presidential failure, Beto O’Rourke, as predicted, Joe Biden has been taken over by the liberal-left of the DNC.
Joe Biden’s predicted V.P. nod of Kamala Harris does nothing to bolster support from within the Democratic Party base. And yet, somehow, Clinton believes that her prior failed foreign policy experience and dated songs of “Stand by Your Man,” is just what Biden needs in his administration.
Perhaps Clinton is right? Should Biden be elected this November, he would assume office in January as our nation’s oldest president-elect. At the ripe age of 78 and bright illustrations of dementia and delusion, it is almost sure that Biden would fail to serve out his full term. With clear conversations and circulations of the DNC’s “has-beens” and “up-and-comers,” Biden’s strategy is to find someone, anyone who can speak for him and continue to pull the liberal-pandering puppet strings of Democratic policy in his absence.
Could that someone be, Hillary Clinton?
