Washington, DC – Breaking news in Washington, DC this evening as shots have been fired during President Trump’s national press conference. Trump was ushered from the briefing room quickly as the situation unfolded. Some videos of apparent shots being fired were posted quickly on social media.
President Trump returned to the briefing room to share that the shots were fired by the Secret Service. One person was shot and that person was taken to the hospital. Details are still limited other than the shooting took place outside of the White House.
