President Donald Trump attacked Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as “weak” and the press as complicit in his quest for the presidency at a campaign event in Latrobe, Penn. on Thursday.
“They are just a bunch of phony people,” Trump said of the media. “Not all of them. You have some very good ones. Like 10%.”
“They are doing anything they can to get this sleepy guy into the White House,” the president said. “I do not think the public will fall for it. In his best days, he was weak. As a senator, he was weak. And he is not exactly prime time.”
“We have a lot of weak people. We like strong people, don’t we? We need strong people right now,” Trump later said.
