Atlanta, GA — The Liberty Loft readers likely remember L. Lin Wood for his representation of former Covington Catholic high school student and currently the highest paid employee at CNN and The Washington Post, Nick Sandmann.

Sandmann, who now has been hired to work on Senator Mitch McConnell’s re-election campaign, has his life forever changed.  His life was turned on its head by radical leftists and their media lapdogs, after the teen’s school trip to Washington, D.C. to attend a pro-life march became national news — and not in a good way.

Really taking it to the media outlets that defamed him, Sandman spoke on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial at the RNC last week, which further irritated our media betters. You may also know Wood was the lawyer for the late, wrongly-accused and exonerated Olympic Park bombing suspect, Richard Jewell.  If you know anything about the Richard Jewell saga, you’ll know just how much damage the media can do to a person’s life.  Without a doubt, that is what drove him to an early grave.

Like Jewell and Sandmann, Wood is now representing Kyle Rittenhouse, the Illinois teen accused of killing two people and wounding a third in Kenosha, WI, during rioting in that city late last month. As my colleague Streiff reported, supporters of Rittenhouse quickly put together a GoFundMe effort to support his defense. But the donation crowd-sourcing website pulled it down on August 26th.

Now, a lawyer who’s been helping Wood on behalf of Rittenhouse to administer a new fund called the #FightBack Foundation, has sounded the alarm on Twitter Tuesday afternoon that Wood’s account has been thrown into Twitter jail — further stifling the urgent efforts to raise money for his client’s defense.

Around 5 p.m. last night, PB Managing Partner and Founder John Pierce wrote the first in a string of tweets, tagging high-profile handles including President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and attorney Sidney Powell:

Minutes later, he added more, writing:

As his pinned post, Pierce has a video, which includes a live message from Rittenhouse from jail within the hour. After he speaks, Pierce says about the pending case:

“I want to say that this is 100 percent self-defense. If this is not self-defense for Kyle Rittenhouse, under these circumstances, then no one can protect themselves, no one can protect their family, and no one can protect their country.

This is a watershed moment in American history. A very bright line has been crossed. The right to self-defense is a God-given right. And we are not going to allow a prosecutor in Kenosha, WI, to take it away from Kyle Rittenhouse.”
