As we told you last night, President Trump aired a naturalization ceremony held earlier in the day at the White House during the RNC’s primetime coverage at night:
Today, President @realDonaldTrump welcomed five of our newest AMERICAN CITIZENS as they took the Oath of Allegiance to the greatest Nation on Earth!

And MSNBC Joy Reid thinks this was an “abomination”:
My mother was a naturalized citizen. Donald Trump using the ceremony that meant so much to her (in large part because she was excited to be able to vote) IN the White House, is really hard to watch. It’s an abomination, in that this ceremony is NOT about worshiping a president.

So predictable:

Not all mothers would agree, however:
My mother was a naturalized citizen.
She wouldn’t have cared. https://t.co/RWQXvNQzjb

And what does her mother think about those homophobic blog posts that were never fully explained?
Speaking of abominations, your mother raised a rampant homophobe https://t.co/zav4nwDtFQ
