Athens, GA — Did you love the Democratic National Convention? Athletic anomaly Herschel Walker didn’t. The staggeringly powerful NFL star-turned MMA mangler took to Twitter Thursday night to give his assessment.
You might say he’s sick of “black,” Jack — the man’s tired of the conventional card game. Here’s how the Olympic bobsledder put it:
“Wow, Democratic Convention, you’re playing the race card way too much tonight! You all have been in office for years and have done nothing for African Americans. Every four years, you do this for a vote. And the violence and death in our communities, yet you say nothing?”
Wow Democratic Convention, you’re playing the race card way too much tonight! You all have been in office for years and have done nothing for African Americans. Every four years you do this for a vote. And the violence and death in our communities, yet you say nothing?
Race was certainly a titanic topic of the four-night extravaganza. As noted by the Washington Examiner, skin color got repeated mentions among former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Tammy Duckworth, and former 2020 hopeful Andrew Yang.
Of course, there was also aspiring VP Kamala Harris and Mr. Big himself, Joe Biden — who previously pointed out he’s so down with black people, he’s not even uncomfortable around ’em. Joe also served up this last year:
“Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.”
Herschel’s not known for his Democratic ways — the guy’s a vocal supporter of the President. And he’s none too afraid to share his views. The famed UGA tailback knows that the Democratic party will kick black people to the curb after the election is over. This has become a four-year-perennial event from the Democrats.
This tweet best encapsulates their actions:
A couple summer standouts:
I have an idea…For all these people who don’t want any police, I’d love to meet with American Airlines, Delta, and Southwest and make a deal to fly them to countries that don’t have police. I want them to be happy! @CNN @FoxNews @DonaldJTrumpJr @POTUS @espn
I don’t want to defund the police. I don’t want to tear down statues. What about my freedom of speech? I want to be united as Americans. Congress and Senators… Can you hear me? pic.twitter.com/2fdqP6GSwQ
As reported by RedState’s Nick Arama, earlier this month, Herschel took to the Twitterverse over Bible burning — under the auspices of “Black Lives Matter”:
America wake up…if we love our Country, let’s speak up, stand up and protect it!🇺🇸 #arewebeingplayed @espn @FoxNews @CNN @ESPNNBA @NFL @JudgeJeanine @WNBA @HARRISFAULKNER pic.twitter.com/rkZkZLEdP2
Herschel’s tweet has been shared nearly 50,000 times. Here are a few Thumbs Ups:
Herschel, I hope America can survive with Democrats, I know I can’t, Please God have Mercy on America. I hope you’re planning to run for President next term, if we survive. This World looks like only peace you will get in the grave yard Please God Help 🙏
Democrats own Black people!”You Ain’t Black” if you don’t vote for them. They think we are required to obey them.
It’s imperative that patriots like Herschel, a man who was bullied and ridiculed as a child, continue to stand up against violence and anyone trying to destroy the greatest country the world has ever seen.
