The 2020 election is now less than 3 months away – but voting actually begins just four weeks from today. Much of the voting this year will be done by mail – which has ignited controversy, accusations, and lawsuits from all sides, as states scramble to figure out how to hold an election in the middle of a pandemic. Meanwhile Joe Biden announced he would not attend the Democratic Convention, which is now an almost entirely virtual event. And the Republicans are grappling with plans for their own convention, which may include President Trump delivering his acceptance speech on South Lawn of the White House.
