If you weren’t already off the Dr. Anthony Fauci bandwagon, maybe this will do the trick. The top government doctor, a figure we’ve been assured doesn’t have a political bone in his body, was tripped up badly today by Rep. Jim Jordan in a House hearing.
Jordan attempted to ask Fauci the obvious question, which is whether protests should be limited just like everything else Fauci has proclaimed needs to be limited. Here was his answer, or better yet, lack thereof.

Are you kidding me? This is a guy who hasn’t found a subject he’s not willing to opine on and tell Americans what to do regarding, down to trying to manage how people interact sexually, but now it’s not his place to comment on whether protests should be limited? The biggest super-spreader events going on the country right now are not within his purview? He could tell you to stay locked in your house and not go to a baseball game, but he can’t tell BLM protesters that forming massive crowds is not a good idea?

You’d think a supposed completely apolitical government bureaucrat would have no problem answering that question. But that’s just it. Fauci is not apolitical. He’s a Democrat, and though he’s may avoid trying to be overtly political, he suddenly loses his tongue any time criticism might have to be leveled at a Democrat or a Democrat cause. That’s how you get him making the ludicrous statement that New York “did it correctly” in regards to coronavirus. At the end of the day, he’s got his biases like anyone else.
Some try to explain this away as Fauci just being a political imbecile, as if working in a government bursary for 40 years has never exposed him to politics before. I say that’s nonsense. Someone who’s just aloof wouldn’t try to desperately dodge Jordan’s question. They’d simply answer it, even if their answer wasn’t political correct. No, Fauci knows exactly what he’s doing and trying to infantilize him is a bad argument.
Trump did the right thing cutting him out of the decision making process months ago.
