Rioters smashed in the door to the Portland Police Association late Saturday night and lit the building on fire.
Just before 11 p.m., the Portland Police announced in a tweet that “people have broken into the Portland Police Association office and lit the building on fire.”

Prior to the fire, Woodstock reported on Twitter that “protesters have removed the plywood from the front door the precinct. They’re now smashing at the door with the pole of an American flag.” He added that, “I will say this…. there is actually criminal activity occurring in the crowd. As in, there’s a dumpster fire in the middle of Lombard and the door getting smashed. Meanwhile, vast majority of crowd is standing peacefully in the street.”

Earlier in the evening, they were marching through the streets chanting “every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground.”
