A crowd of masked protesters toppled a statue of Christopher Columbus in the Little Italy neighborhood in Baltimore on Saturday evening. Ironically, most Columbus statues in the U.S. were erected in Italian neighborhoods in the mid 20th century to better include Italian immigrants in the American story.
