On Wednesday, BET founder Robert Johnson cheese-grated white left-wing protestors attacking statues across the country and trying to cancel television shows on behalf of black people.
Speaking to Fox News, the nation’s first black billionaire burned the woke warriors somethin’ fierce:
“[They] have the mistaken assumption that black people are sitting around cheering for them saying…'[L]ook at these white people. They’re doing something so important to us. They’re taking down the statue of a Civil War general who fought for the South.’”
To many black Americans, he said, those people are — one might say — a joke:
“You know, black people, in my opinion, black people laugh at white people who do this the same way we laugh at white people who say we got to take off the TV shows [like] The Dukes of Hazard. I bet if you go back and look at the Nielsen ratings when The Dukes of Hazard was on television, I’ll bet you it had a huge black viewing population. The one thing you can do is research it, find out, because blacks watched more television than whites did, always has been historically.”
He made the protestors sound like a bunch of goobs:
“White Americans seem to think that if they just do sort of emotionally or drastic things that black people are going to say…'[W]hite people love us because they took down a statue of Stonewall Jackson.’”
As per Robert, the black community’s less than impressed:
“Frankly, black people don’t give a damn.”
The entrepreneur isn’t one to toe a party line. As I covered in November, the man had positive things to say about Trump.
He’d previously given the President an A+ for his management of the economy, and he was sticking to that assessment:
“You look at consumer confidence, you look at job growth, you look at unemployment for African Americans and women, and you look at wages beginning to show some movement upward — I still stand by that position, absolutely.”
At the time, concerning the upcoming presidential election, he said Dems had ostracized themselves with extremism:
“I do not see anybody in the Democratic primary races today that is enough in the center — where I believe most of the voters are…”
Holy cow, what he must think now…
As for white people appointing themselves as authorized avengers of the black race, as Nick Arama relayed, Twitter was alive Tuesday with a stunning example.
I’ll leave you with a bit of that. But I implore you — don’t watch if you’re averse to strong language.

Despite some on the Left decrying a Caucasian Jesus, among the radicals, there seems to be quite an embrace of the white savior.
