Charlotte, NC – On Tuesday, Howard Forman had an article that ran at The Bulwark suggesting that the only way forward for the country is for President Trump to resign. He suggests that is the path to economic prosperity and sound health footing is though the resignation. But his argument is simply liberal lunacy at its best.
The Bulwark is an anti-Trump left wing propaganda organization. They may claim to be a news organization, but when you publish an article such as Forman’s that goes away. One of his main arguments is the leaked FEMA document from Monday.
Yet, the document is not an official document. It was never vetted. It was never released as an official statement or position. But the left wing media and propaganda outlets like The Bulwark are pushing it as such. It helps frame the narrative that they want you to believe.
Forman continues to argue that Trump should have known better and have responded differently to the situation. It’s another argument that fails when the administration was left in the dark by China. It’s another example of how the left wing media refuses to hold China accountable. They choose to blame President Trump, because it helps frame their narrative.
The article continues to place blame on Trump for the lack of a mitigation strategy to limit the cases. The stay orders only slow the spread of the virus, they do not prevent it. The US has seen cases plateau over the past 30 days, but we’re still seeing cases of spread even in the midst of the lockdowns.
We are also learning more about the virus and the spread of the virus each day. One biologist wrote that the spread in California was 50-85 times higher than the actual test results show. In early tests across Germany, the spread was around 14% in a town that had the testing.
I think we can all understand the US did not have the widespread testing capabilities when the virus started spreading. Much of the initial testing was held for those who were significantly sick or even hospitalized. A lot of cases were missed in these first days. Now, we are testing more. It makes common sense we should see the expected number of cases rise.
The final argument from Forman is that President Trump has failed in leadership for 12 weeks of the virus. I suppose that leading us through the multiple legislative acts, the national guidance, the encouragement and development of additional testing strategies, activation of the Defense Production Act and so many more things in this period of time were nothing.
This is just another fine example of left wing propaganda that is attempting to push a narrative. They want to eliminate President Trump. It’s just not going to happen this way.
In 2009, President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for simply existing. He did nothing to earn it or deserve it. Maybe President Trump deserves a humanitarian aid award, because he’s done much more than the media will give him credit for.
