Sen. Bernie Sanders reached out to military veterans in the Navy town of Virginia Beach during a speech Saturday.
“Our administration will never forget the veterans. And our administration will never put the men and women in the armed forces in wars that should not be fought,” he promised. “And I say this as the former chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs.”
