Bernie Sanders Calls His Opponents 'Birthers' and Democrats Have No One to Blame But Themselves

Bernie is really pulling out all the stops. With the treatment he received in 2016 while running against Hillary Clinton still fresh in his mind, the geriatric communist is taking no chances this time around. That means unleashing an army of crazy supporters and having his surrogates make ridiculous claims like this.

Yeah, well except Bernie did actually have a heart attack a few months ago and he’s 78 years old. Wondering about his health isn’t a conspiracy or “smear campaign,” it’s common sense. That has nothing to do with birtherism or any other such nonsense.

Bernie’s health is a thread a lot of anti-Bernie Democrats are trying to pull on as a “break glass,” final attempt to stop him.

Democrats deserve this coming back to bite them so very much. Remember, it was Lockhart, Rubin, and others who proclaimed it off-limits to question Hillary’s health in 2016. This was after she literally collapsed in public and was tossed into the back of a van like a piece of meat. The former Secretary of State also had numerous, uncontrollable coughing fits on the campaign trial.

Yet, when Republicans brought it up, they were berated and called conspiracy theorists by networks like CNN and papers like The Washington Post. Now the shoe is on the other foot but the standard is set and it’s pretty hilarious.

The truth is, we should be worried about a 78 year old who refuses to release his medical records just a few months after having a heart attack. But Democrats and other partisans, never having the ability to ponder how their actions could be turned around on them in the future, set a standard they now have to live by. Congrats.
