‘A Violation of the Logan Act’ – Trump Blasts Dem Sen. Chris Murphy For Secretly Meeting with Iranians (VIDEO)
President Trump on Tuesday suggested Democrat Senator Murphy (CT) violated the Logan Act when he secretly met with Iranians last week in Germany.
On Monday, Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist reported that according to a source, Dem Sen. Murphy secretly met with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif during the Munich Security Conference last week.
Murphy attended the meeting with Javad Zarif without first seeking permission from the State Department, potentially undermining the US government.
On Tuesday Senator Murphy admitted that he met secretly with the Iranian Foreign Minister in Germany.
“I saw that…Senator Murphy met with the Iranians; is that a fact? I just saw that on the way over. Is there anything that I should know? Because that sounds like to me a violation of the Logan Act,” Trump said while speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews.

Following the death of Commander Soleimani Democrat Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) lashed out at President Trump for assassinating the Iranian al-Quds terrorist leader who was responsible for the deaths and maiming of HUNDREDS of US soldiers.
Senator Murphy has a history of supporting Iran’s mullahs and was one of the biggest supporters of Obama’s Iran nuke deal.
Murphy is a routine speaker at the NIAC Council, the regime’s lobby house in the US.
And just like former Secretary of State John Kerry, Chris Murphy defied the Trump administration and engaged in shadow diplomacy.
Ironically, Senator Murphy demanded General Mike Flynn be investigated for ‘violating the Logan Act’ because he spoke to Russian Ambassador Kislyak on behalf of an incoming president.
“Any effort to undermine our nation’s foreign policy – even during a transition period – may be illegal and must be taken seriously,” Murphy said in 2017.
So when does the investigation into Chris Murphy begin?
