So-called “Democratic Socialism,” such as that promoted by Democrat presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is still socialism, a PragerU video explains.
“Putting the word ‘Democratic’ in front of your ‘Socialism’ doesn’t make it any inherently more moral – nor less violent,” political commentator Steven Crowder notes in “Democratic Socialism Is Still Socialism,” citing examples of Democratically-elected dictatorships throughout the world.
Crowder refutes the claim that socialism is moral and altruistic, while capitalism is evil and greedy, by asking:
“What’s more greedy than wanting to take from someone else something that you haven’t earned?”
Crowder also examines how liberals hold up countries like Sweden and Denmark as examples of socialist utopia’s.
