Back in 2019, Virginia’s Governor Ralph “I may have posed in Blackface but I am not a bigot” Northam, a Democrat, endorsed a post-birth abortion bill sponsored by Virginia Democratic Delagate Kathy Tran.
Ms Tran was asked at a hearing if a woman about to give birth and dilating could still request an abortion.
“My bill would allow that, yes,” Tran said.
Northam, in referring to this conversation said, “so, in this particular example, if a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother . . .desired.”
I wonder, does this mean if you are a woman who gives birth in Virginia you can abort that child at any time in the future?
And so. . .today’s cartoon:
