Unfortunately for the folks pushing Mike Bloomberg for president, Bloomberg has a lot of past and he hasn’t been shy about saying and doing a lot of things that have been caught on video.

The left likes to pretend that President Donald Trump is “authoritarian,” when indeed he’s the opposite.

They really need to get a load of Bloomberg’s videos. There are few people more elitist and condescending, “my way or the highway” guys than him.

Here’s a video of Bloomberg making a shiva call to the Segal family when he was Mayor of New York City in 2011. According to Yeshiva World, he spoke about “some very interesting topics, such as overcrowding in emergency rooms, Obamacare, immigration, smoking, eating salt, NYC traffic.” Just fyi, he said Obamacare would make things worse.

But listen to what he says here to folks who just lost a family member and friend about medical care. He’s saying past a certain age and under the right circumstances, we should just say to heck with providing care because it’s not cost effective. Yikes.

“If you show up with cancer & you’re 95 years old, we should say, Go & enjoy. There’s no cure, we can’t do anything. A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that yet.”

You bet “society’s not willing to do that yet.” And thank God. Because maybe most people still actually value life and aren’t willing to say, even if Bloomberg might be, to deny care to a 95 year old man because Bloomberg says so.

What happens if do they do the math, once they start out accepting that principle and realize it’s more cost effective if they drop it to 75? Who gets to decide the age at which you cut off the care? Bloomberg?

It’s a slippery slope that one should never go down because it’s immoral to start with.

But this is Bloomberg and what he showed in New York City, why people called him “Nanny Bloomberg,” because he wanted to control everything we did, from guns to even the soda that we drank, because he knew what was best for us.
