(CNSNews.com) – President Donald Trump told Geraldo Rivera in a podcast interview released yesterday that he would vote to elect a homosexual president of the United States.

Trump told Rivera that “he wouldn’t be among that group” that would not support a gay man for president.

“You and I would not be in that group,” Trump told Rivera.

“We would not,” said Rivera.

Here is the transcript of the exchange between President Trump and Rivera on Rivera’s “Roadkill With Geraldo” podcast in which Trump told Rivera he would support a homosexual for president:

Geraldo Rivera: “Would Americans vote for a gay man to be president?”

President Donald Trump: “I think so. I think there would be some that wouldn’t and, you know, I wouldn’t be among that group to be honest with you. But I think that, yes, I think that it doesn’t seem to be hurting Pete Buttigieg—as you say, as you would call him. It doesn’t seem to be hurting him very much. And, but there would certainly be a group—you know this better than I do–there would be a group that probably wouldn’t. But, you know, you and I would not be in that group.

Rivera: “We would not.”
